Rosemary Basil Smashed Red Potatoes

We add Rosemary & Basil Philia to the classic mashed potato recipe for extra creaminess and flavor.


How to make


Place potatoes in 6-quart saucepan; add 2 teaspoons salt and enough water to cover by two inches. Bring to boil; continue cooking over medium heat 15-20 minutes or until fork tender. Drain.


Combine cooked potatoes and all remaining ingredients in bowl. Mash with potato masher until well mixed. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon chopped rosemary. 


Spoon into serving bowl. Garnish with additional chopped rosemary, if desired.


2 pounds red potatoes, cleaned, cut into 1 to 2-inch pieces

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 cup Rosemary & Basil Feta Cheese Spread

1/3 cup milk

1/4 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

Pepper, as desired

1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary, additional for garnish, if desired
